Due to a schedule conflict with the instructor for ICS 400, the August 1st and 2nd date will be changed to August 2nd and 3rd. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Due to lack of student enrollment these courses were cancelled.

Fire Instructor 1A and Fire Instructor 1B on a first come first serve basis. The Cost for Fire Instructor 1A is either $165.00 (with cert)or $114.00 and Fire Instructor 1B will cost either $150.00 (with cert) or $99.00. Accounting staff will be present to collect these fees on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 and Wednesday, June 14, 2006 since they will be here collecting the fees for members taking the Fire Prevention 1B course. FYI, the following are the dates for each of the Fire Instructor courses:

Instructor 1A:

• June 30, 2006 - Day 2 of 5
• July 14, 2006 - Day 3 of 5

Due to the character recogition factor of some software, Module 2 in Book 8 page 38 of the .pdf document or page 7 of the Module has an error. It should read… For each pound of pressure exerted on the air, there will be a temperature increase of about 2 F (not 20 F). The top of the compression stroke (when pressure is highest), the temperature in the chamber will be about 1,000 F. (not 1,0000 F)

• May 5, 2006 - Day 4 of 5
• May 12, 2006 - Day 5 of 5

• May 26, 2006 - Day 2 of 5
• June 2, 2006 - Day 3 of 5
• June 9, 2006 - Day 4 of 5

All classes for both Instructor 1A and Instructor 1B will be taught on
the above listed Friday’s by Captain Mike Ketaily and the fee is as
listed on the student fee schedule that was distributed to all students
and interested members.
Any member interested in attending either course will be able to sign
up on March 21 and March 22, 2006 during our regularly scheduled Fire
Officers Class on a first come first serve basis with fairness applied
to both sign-up days equally.
